Our beloved Ben Vaughn has produced the new and fresh on the shelves of the shops EP, by Gwendolyn. In fact, this is no new stuff, as it was recorded back in 2002 (in Scotland). Due to busy schedules of both producer and artist, the final mix of this EP was delayed, until August 7, 2007, which is when the CD will celebrate its official release. Gwendolyn, a Philadelphia-born/California-raised singer-songwriter, will please fans of Incredible String Band with her gentle and soft songs. Freak-folk is how critics have called her style, and it is up to us, listeners, to decide whether they are right or not, by giving ‘Lower Mill Road’ lots of spins.
